Archive du site Anglais Lugia's Blue Forest News du site Français en page d'accueil. December 12, 2000: I know I said I'd update monthly, but we've got too many good things to wait! As you've probably noticed (I hope!) the gateway page has a work in progress Shockwave animation of Lugia. Please DO NOT steal and use for your own purposes, I've worked hard on this. Another BIG update to the site is the Screenshot Section! Fire up those pipelines, because I went a little nuts. Enjoy! December 1, 2000: Happy Holidays! We've got a real treasure this month. New to the website are the official model sheets of Lugia that were used in the making of the animated film, Revelation Lugia. This is a real find, thanks go out to Lance Ikegawa for unearthing this amazing resource from the bookstores in Little Tokyo. It's in the Media section, so enjoy and get to drawing some fan art! Speaking of fan art, there's twice as much to be seen there too. The Fanart section is getting a little one-sided, so come on in and submit! :) November 15, 2000: I captured Suicune last night! Boy, trying to even FIND any of these Legendary Three is really frustrating! I must've spent an hour hopping between sites, checking the 'Dex and I kid you not, they either dance off in the other direction or skip right over the sections I'm standing in. I happened on Suicune by sheer luck; I was just running around in the bicycle, waiting for an egg to hatch, and suddenly out of the bushes she came! No Max repel, no nothin! Well I got a little excited and used my Master Ball to get her, even though she was down pretty low. I couldn't take the chance on bringing up a Pokemon that could put Suicune to sleep; she'd take the opportunity to dash off again. I was saving the Master Ball for Entei, because he doesn't have a scratch on him, and I've only run into him twice. But now she is mine! I'm overjoyed. She's a water type! I didn't know that...I thought with the name 'Aurora' she'd be an ice-type. I don't usually give nicknames to the Legendaries (I think it's demeaning) but I decided to name her Diamande, because she's a precious gem that sparkles with purity...ahem. Well, I'll stop gushing now. :) Site news, there were some brief outages due to a screwup by Pacbell, but that's all fixed now. November 6th, 2000: I have captured Lugia, hooray! I was playing Gold edition, so it was doubly hard...Lugia is level 70. And I still haven't captured any of the legendary dogs yet (Entei, Suicune, and Raikou) so I was trying to save my Master Ball for them. I did it with an ultra ball! And to put the icing on the cake, I evolved an Umbreon in the same hour! Now my game is complete. I'm just wandering around, leveling up my Houndoom and Growlithe, and experimenting with breeding new Pokemon. Site news, I finally got around to updating the incorrect info in the FAQ. It was mostly based on speculation anyway, especially the Gameboy stats. And coming soon, the very first Lugia fanfic! A fellow PokeNut, Tracy Kazaleh will be writing what sounds like a very cute story about Lugia's first trip to the haircut man. This was based on some weird feature in the game where to make your Pokemon happy, you take them to get a haircut. Well, Tracy and I got to talking about how weird that sounded, and how we'd sort of expand on that idea and improve on it...well it may be wacky, it may be funny in parts, but most definately it will be cool! No Lugia fan should miss reading this short story, as I said, coming very soon to this site! October 25, 2000: I have a hosting server again! Hooray and many thanks to Tugrik for the generous space and help! By now Silver (and that obnoxious upstart, Gold) Editions are out and being played. I was a little too excited, and couldn't wait for my order of Silver to come in before I started playing Gold. My latest challenge is to defeat the leader of the Blackstone City Gym. But I'm taking a break to try and catch Suicune, which sounds like a handy Ice-type to have. I've got Suicune down very low, and she's gotten away from me twice now...she travels so fast, dangit! Soon...she will be mine! Bwah hah hah! Anyway, site news: I was keeping everyone updated in the Guest Book, since that was still operational, but I'll say it again...new photos! The Merchandise page is online, and some new fanart. Also a whole page "How to Draw Lugia" that should be very handy for all interesting in drawing this fun creature. Enjoy, and thanks for hanging in there! October 11, 2000: Site went offline when the server was hacked and destroyed. But lots of new improvements were added anyway! Header art, photos of the Lugia car and merchandise. Also I'm working on a nice painting, should be finished real soon now. October 4, 2000: Added some new links to the 'links' page. And the media/fanart section is up and open to submissions. Remember, not just Lugia pics are okay to have here. Any water Pokemon and heck, even normal undersea creatures are welcome too. See the rules for details. October 1, 2000: The site is launched! Hooray! :D |
